A parade of wellies greets farming and countryside speakers at a ‘Farm to Fork’ day at the Scottish Agricultural College, Aberdeen.

Proving they are no slackers in the fashion stakes, even on a muddy farm on a wet day, the female half of a school visit to a farming college brighten up the farmyard with their colourful display of wellington boots. And, unsurprisingly, at the end of the day their boots were still spotlessly clean.
The course promotes awareness of farming and the countryside and shows how school subjects like home economics and the sciences connect with agriculture.
