“Previously… Scotland’s History Festival” starts today and there’s something for everyone.

From Robert Louis Stevenson Day (today, 13th November) to a “what if…” scenario when Britain faced invasion from Hitler’s army (Gordon Barclay’s “If Hitler Comes: Preparing for Invasion, 1940” at Adam House).

Melanie has been wowwing crowds in Edinburgh this week in her first Fringe show at the Gilded Balloon.

Film director and actor John Hannah (best known for his roles in “Four Weddings and a Funeral”, “Sliding Doors” and “The Mummy”) launches a series of events to celebrate Edinburgh Zoo’s centenary.

John has made a documentary on the tourist attraction and brought his family to the penguin pool to watch him feeding fish to the ever-popular penguins – through a specially constructed “100” sign which attracted the close attention of the curious birds (above).
