Vaccinate to liberate: Scots campaigners join the campaign across Britain to get the UK to become the globe’s top ‘Vacci-Nation’.
Activists from nationwide charities Save The Children and ONE have called for world leaders to pledge £2.3 billion needed to vaccinate four million children over the next five years against the biggest child killers in the developing world – pneumonia and diarrhoea – ahead of a crucial world health summit in the UK next month.
Across the country thousands of campaigners are asking their MPs to back the campaign. People are also writing to world leaders directly through online petitions hosted by ONE and Save the Children.
